How To Lose Belly Fat:
Losing belly fat is one of the hardest areas to lose fat from. There is a massive missconception of how you lose fat effectively, many articles will say that you need to do abdominal exercise, reduce you fat intake and exercise rigorously 5 times a week. This is NOT how you lose belly fat.
Your body type will dictate where you will store fat on your body, some store it around the bum and tops of legs and others around their belly. Men store bodyfat around their belly more than any other area of their body.
You will have to go that bit further to lose weight around your belly, when you have started losing weight you'll notice losing fat on your arms, around the face and top half of your torso and also around your legs, you will notice your waist has reduced also. You may plataeu with you weight loss and you may feel you can not do anymore, but going beyond this point will get rid of that subborn fat around your belly.
You need to be doing exercises that keep you in your fat burning zone, running is a cardio vascular exercise and will only increase your stamina and won't be burning fat. Walking for 2 minutes then sprinting for 30 seconds then back to walking will get you in the fat burning zone. Repeat this 5 - 10 times, so that you've worked up a sweat.
Lift Weights - a small amount of weight lifting incorporated in to your exercise regime will help melt the fat from your body. The benefit of building muscle is that you will be burning fat long after you've done your work due to the muscles needing fuel and energy. You want to use weights that are relatively easy to lift that you can do around 15 repations with. On you 15th rep you want to feel the burn and you should get a light sweat going, repeat you exercise 3 times - 15reps x 3 reps.
You do not need to isolate your belly area to lose weight, your could do 1000 sit ups, it will not make your stomach fat disappear, it will strengthen your abdominal muscles and core but it is not a fat burning exercise.
Use Compound exercises to burn fat from all over your body. Squats are the most efficient exercise you can perform for fat burning results. Squats demand your whole body to work you are also using large muscles groups to perform the motion, melting the fat from your entire body in the process.
